Vanguard x SEF: A Strategic MoU to Empower Talent and Ecosystem Growth in Esports

Riyadh, Saudi Arabia – August 24, 2025: Vanguard, represented by its Founder & Chairman, Engineer Mohammed Alotaibi, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Esports Federation (SEF), represented by its CEO, Rawan AlButairi. The partnership aims to strengthen cooperation in esports and advance the objectives of Saudi Arabia’s National Gaming & Esports Strategy.

This agreement underscores a shared vision of supporting ecosystem growth and talent development and, positioning Saudi Arabia as a global hub for esports.

The partnership further commits to the joint development of new esports-related intellectual properties (IPs) and initiatives. By coordinating with both public and private stakeholders, Vanguard and SEF will help sustain and expand the Kingdom’s esports ecosystem, ensuring long-term scalability and impact.

Talent Development

Under the MoU, Vanguard will work closely with the Saudi Esports Academy to create structured opportunities for Saudi talent through internships, mentorship programs, and career pathways. Selected graduates of the Academy will gain employment opportunities at Vanguard, supported by on-the-job training, seminars, and guidance from seasoned esports professionals.

Together, Vanguard and SEF will also drive job placements, talent acquisition strategies, and knowledge-sharing initiatives designed to bridge the gap between education and industry practice.
